Rabbi Morris Bernstein has been our spiritual leader since 1986, long enough to share the joy of marrying young people he knew as children in our schul. His concept of congregational life has infused ours with a vision of empowering our men, women, teenagers and children with the skills and confidence to lead service on the Bima, read Torah, and chant Haftorah. Rabbi Bernstein believes in consensus building and attracting Jewish people with a sense of loving spirituality and dignified informality. He is committed to the integrity of Conservative Judaism, the complete equality of the sexes in the synagogue and a reverence for all things Jewish. Most importantly he is always approachable to adults and in particular to our children of all ages.
