About Manetto Hill Jewish Center Manetto Hill Jewish Center is a Conservative Egalitarian congregation. We are a growing community always seeking new members. We pride ourselves on our commitment to traditional Judaism, while rejoicing in our diversity and inclusiveness. We invite you to learn more about our community by coming to synagogue events and services. Our members participate fully in the services including leading Shacharit, the Torah service and Musaf as well as laning Torah and chanting Haftorah on a voluntary basis. All children are invited to attend our Shabbat morning Junior Congregation services. Through the course of the year we conduct Family Shabbatons as well as host Friday night Shabbat dinners and Saturday luncheons. Our Friday evening service, which begins at 8:00 pm, is a joyous welcoming of Shabbat. It is casual and child-friendly, and always ends with kiddush and challah. The Saturday morning service begins at 9:30 am. It takes place in the sanctuary and includes the Torah service and Rabbi's sermon, with a kiddush to follow. There are plenty of opportunities to mingle, chat and share a few moments of Shabbat with friends. We encourage you to check the MHJC website for upcoming synagogue events. There is always something engaging happening at MHJC. There are also numerous learning opportunities for community members from all walks of life. Come to the synagogue and say hello. Our door is always open. |
